Who am I, you ask?

I am Lydia.

First off, and most importantly, I’m a Christian. I believe Jesus died on the cross and rose for me, he loves me, and he is my Lord, my King, and my Savior. I pray that you believe that too. If you’re skeptical of the Bible, or uncertain, please DM me, and I would love to tell you what Christianity is all about. If you’re feeling lost, alone, grieved, angry, pained, weak, unable, confused - if you need help (which all of us do), Jesus offers that true healing, relief, salvation. It cannot be found elsewhere. Come to him.

Secondly, I’m a writer. I’ve always loved creative writing, or writing in general. My goal is to have a book published within the next 2 1/2 years.

Third, I’m a pianist. I’ve been classically trained for the past 11 years or so, and though I haven’t taken that to anything more than a hobby that I fiercly enjoy, I believe it is a gift God has given me, and I’ll never forget that. Right now, I fiddle around with composing and making my own music; once I get good enough, who knows? My goal for piano is to be able to play Chopin’s Scherzo no. 1 - but right now I’m Beethoven’s Tempest Sonata/ Brahm’s Rhapsodies level, so I’ve some little way to go yet before I reach that point.

Fourth, I’m a chess player. Right now I’m not really active on the chess side of chess.com, but I’ll get back into it again… one day… maybe. Once I peaked over 900, I was kind of fearful to spoil that rating.

Fifth, I’m an American. If you want my stance on politics, DM me. I stand with Israel, as the chosen of God and beloved of his heart. I also support Ukraine, and I pray for wisdom and insight in the leaders around the world; I pray for fear of God to be in their hearts, and these thoughts of greed and bloodshed and sinful desire to be dispelled from their minds.
