The names of chess pieces are different in Arabic. Well, the king, caslte and pawn are the same, but the bishop is "elephant", the knight is "horse" and the queen is "minister".
In Turkish, they are the same as in Arabic except for the king which is "emperor".

How is it in other languages?

In Dutch, the knight is also "horse", the bishop is "runner" and the queen is "the lady". Thanks to @bartmartens77.
