Hello everyone! My name is Shunkai Peng. I preferred you to call my English name Kevin, I was borned in China, Shanghai. Now I am living in Portland, US. I am a Fide Master (FM) with a current Fide rating of 2309. I am a International master candidate with 4 norms. I can speak  Chinese/English. Currently I am also a college student study at University of Oregon.

I have been taught at the high school chess club to help players of any level, teaching them the basic rules, pieces move, and other deeper in-game strategies or tactics. I have also become a four-year president of the high school chess club. 

I offer personalized chess lessons, first I will look the games of the student and I will learn his/her game style, any kind of mistakes or weaknesses and after that I will build the lesson to work on solve these issues and improve his/her skill. I also provide whole time preparation before the tournament match.  I use online platforms like skype/Zoom to teach students and I accept any level of new students!
