Teaching experience
I have teaching/coaching experience with different schools and children during my chess carrier since 1983.
Teaching methodology
- Depends on the level of play, period of engagement and interest of the student. However normally my way of teaching will be;
-the analysis of your games,
-knowing about openings, middle games and end games
-Knowing about tactics and positional play
-Know about the opening repertoire.
-Playing live games and tournaments

Major Achievements in chess:
- National Chess Champion of Pakistan 2022
- Asian Junior Runner up twice in 1988-89
- Won bronze medal in Doha Chess Festival in 1989
- Won bronze medal in Asian cities chess championship 1898 Dubai on first board
- Pakistan Junior Chess Champion in 1989
- Represented Pakistan in World Junior Chess Championship Santiago-Chile 1990
- Won FM title in the 34th Chess Olympiad in Istanbul-Turkey in 2000
- Won my 11 rounds IM norm in 34th Chess Olympiad in Istanbul-Turkey in 2000
- Won silver medal on 5th board in 37th chess Olympiad in Turin-Italy
- Member of national chess team from 1999 to 2012 and participated in in 5 chess Olympiads in
2000, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010.
- Won many National level chess events in Pakistan

Other experiences
Beside playing chess I remained the General Secretary of the Chess Association of Punjab from 2009-21 and currently working as Sr. Vice President. During my tenure as General Secretary I have conducting chess events at the National, Provincial and District level. I have also been engaged to conduct chess events in schools and universities. .
