Hello! I’m a professional chess instructor based in Rhode Island with 22+ years of coaching experience, currently working with multiple scholastic teams and private students. I focus on understanding how your mind operates under pressure and helping you build healthier, more effective decision-making habits at the board.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already an advanced player, my lessons combine puzzle warm-ups, personalized study plans, and a dash of chess history to give you a well-rounded foundation. I’m also the current Rhode Island Chess Champion, and I use the same proven methods in my own training that I share with my students.
