GM. Paul Keres should of been world champion, he is chess genius and his imagination contributed to a lot of beautiful games. GM. Keres as a chess player was extraordinary, he beat nine world champions, 1) Capablanca ; 2) Alekhnie ; 3) Botvinnik ; 4) Euwe ; 5) Smyslov ; 6) Tal ; 7) Petrosian ; 8) Spassky and 9) Fischer. Keres never lost to young Karpov and drew twice.
